Happy Halloween!

It was a great halloween. My costume was Barney Rubble from The Flinstones, one of my favorite t.v. shows.

That halloween had an almost full moon. You can see it in the above photo.

I went trick or treating in my neighborhood. Here I am trick or treating at my next door neighbor Jane's house. As you can see, the bag I used is a Nick Jr./Nickelodeon bag.

Every halloween, I also go to visit a special family, who works at the Montessori school I used to go to: the Fondrens! They are always glad to see me, and really liked my costume. This picture shows me with 2 of the family members: Barbara (left) and Kaitlin (right).

We also went to trick or treat at my aunt's house. My aunt is named Ann. She has just moved here from Texas. And she said that I was the only trick or treater to come to her house that night! Lucky me!

And she really commented on my great costume.

Family and Friends Reunion

This weekend was fantastic! My aunt Ann and my sister Amy came to visit. To help my aunt move to New Albany, Indiana from Austin, Texas. Wow! Because that is so cool that we get to see her more often instead of just twice a year.

We also invited Kevin and Brenda over and Patrick, Chris, and Elizabeth (Patrick's mom). And Tara. Tara and I worked on my Thomas and Friends art project. It will soon be finished. We also had a kind of tea party with lots of pastries. I especially liked the bear claws. For dinner that night, we made an apple pie for dessert. Amy and Chris made a special recipe from my grandmother, Franny, called Chicken Tetrazzini. Everybody liked it.

This week has been so great.

Trip to Huber's

Yesterday we went to Huber's to pick pumpkins. Actually, it was very busy that day. There were so many classes taking field trips. And lots of school busses where parked in the parking lot.

We took a tractor to a pumpkin field to pick pumpkins. I took lots of photos while we were going there. When I got to the field I was amazed at all the orange pumpkins. We found a nice one right away. Mama wanted to find an ugly one, just for a spooky halloween jack o'lantern. Do you see the difference?

Adding Some Color

Today, my friend Tara came by, and together we started painting our model of Thomas the Tank Engine. We built it out of cardboard, from lots of boxes. This project is suggested by an activity on one of my Thomas and Friends DVDs, "Team Up With Thomas." Here's what the DVD looks like:

The Gang

I have a gang of actually stuffed animals. I have a lot of them, but here are four for an example. Tanner is the gray mouse. Sally is the pink mouse. Benjamin is a white polar bear. He has an autism symbol on him. And Chester... A Golden retriever dog. They all talk to each other and have different voices. Chester has the silliest voice. They are inseparable. They came with me on an airplane to Texas. The animals had to talk me into getting on the plane. Benjamin likes honey the best. We whisper it so he doesn't hear us. Chester like to play fetch. He has a funny saying, "zing hey!" The mice like to giggle and talk. They even have a scary sound. It goes, "HAHHAA." Here is their picture:
